Unless otherwise noted, advanced classes are $10.00 per hour.  Students are encouraged to register ONE week prior to class with deposit in order to ensure space in the class.

Aroma-Massage (Aromatherapy Certification):  Essential Oils with Massage Series 

The ancient, beautiful art of aromatherapy is combined with massage to use the sense of smell and touch to enhance the client's experience.  Each class if 6 hours long, from 9 AM to 3:30 PM the second Saturday of each month.  The cost for each class is $100.00.  For students wishing to become Certified Aromatherapists, you must take and complete all five classes and pass the Certification Examination.  $100.00 test fee.

Essential Oils Introduction                                             December 8, 2008 Monday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm 

The first class will include the scientific basis of Aromatherapy, a study of a selection of basic oils, Aromatherapy techniques and Rain Drop Therapy.  It also includes basic aroma chemistry along with selecting and blending essential oils for massage.

Essential Oils for the Emotions and Stress Relief      October 27, 2008 Monday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

This class will elaborate on the first class as well as focus on the emotional aspect of beautifying the body, relieving stress, improving a healthy attitude through massage and scented bathing.  Also focuses on Aromatherapy massage techniques for the skin, hair and natural face lift.  Study of selection of basic oils is also included.

Essential Oils as Pain Remedies                                    January 12, 2009 Monday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

The class is a study of selected oils as therapeutic remedies to assist in the relief of aches and pains, rheumatism, arthritis, migraines and cramps as they relate to massage.  This class will also elaborate on the scientific basis of Aromatherapy and application of Aromatherapy with massage techniques.

Essential Oils Advanced Blending                                  November 10, 2008 Monday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

The class will include the study of a selection of basic oils and Aromatherapy and massage techniques focusing on releasing tension.  It will also elaborate on the scientific basis of Aromatherapy as well as Aromatherapy techniques for selecting and blending essential oils for massage.

Essential Oils for the Massage Therapist                          February 9, 2009 Monday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

The final class will review scientific basis of Aromatherapy, Aromatherapy techniques, selecting and blending essential oils as they relate to massage and a study of a selection of basic oils as therapeutic remedies.

**Test time to be announced for those students who have completed all requirements successfully and who wish to become Certified Aromatherapists.**

Reflexology:

Each class is 8 hours, from 9 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30 minute break for lunch.  The cost for each 8-hour class is $100.00.  For those students wishing to become Certified Reflexologists, you must complete the series, turn in assignments, and pass an examination upon completion of the series.  $100.00 test fee.

Emphasis will be on understanding the principles of and mapping the reflexes on the foot.  Half of the class time is practical application to achieve effective quality of touch.

Reflexology II - Hand & Ear (Mind)                           November 9, 2008 Sunday 12:00 am to 6:00 p                         

Emphasis will be on understanding the principles of and mapping the reflexes on the hands and ears.  This class includes work with the emotions.  Class time includes practical application with Aromatherapy to enhance effectiveness.

Reflexology III - Cranial & Face (Spirit)                   December 7, 2008 Sunday 12:00 am to 6:00 pm 

Understanding the principles of and mapping the reflexes on the cranial & face muscles and throughout the body, including spiritual points.  Class time includes practical application to achieve effective quality of touch.

Hot Stones - 6 hours, $100.00

This class will lead you through the basic Hot Stone Massage utilizing foundation layouts and hot stone massage techniques.

Ethics for the Massage Therapist - 2 hours

A presentation and discussion of the general principles of acceptable, ethical and professional behavior.  This includes examples and recommendations for judging one's actions.

Pregnancy - 6 hours, $100.00

Comprehensive techniques taught to meet physical and emotional needs of pregnant women.  Students will learn to recognize precautions and contraindications.  Multiple techniques, precautions and contraindications taught.

Chair Massage - 6 hours, $100.00

Areas to be covered include fundamental principles of marketing chair massage and self, through the artful use of the chair.  The chair massage routine is designed to enhance the therapeutic effect, create interest by the public, and teach user-friendly techniques that protect the therapist's hands and arms.

Spa Body Care - 6 hours, $100.00

This is a fun hands-on experience of healthy and relaxing spa treatments in a dry room.

Intro to Muscle Testing - 6 hours, $100.00

Muscle Testing is a simple technique that allows you to communicate with the subconscious mind, which in turn controls internal body functions.

Non-CEU Courses:

BACH Flower Remedy - 6 hours, $100.00 including a book

Dr. Bach discovered the flower remedies when he was looking for something to treat more than just the individual's physical condition.  He found that the source of all disease was to be found in the state of mind of the sufferer.  This class looks in-depth at all 38 flower remedies.

Reiki - Level I $100.00, Level II 75.00, Level III $125.00

A gentle hands-on healing technique to reduce stress, relieve pain and facilitate healing.
